- Ties outs at each corner, ridge ends, and middle of the long edges, 8 total
- Bivy mitten hooks at ridge ends

Shaped tarps must be set up in A-frame style pitches, whereas flat tarps (like the other tarps we make) can be set up in a variety of ways. With a shaped tarp you lose the flexibility of a flat tarp, but the advantage of a shaped tarp with catenary edges is a quick, efficient setup that can be set up taut using as few as 6 stakes.
